How does Vidalista work?

  1. Release of Nitric Oxide: When a man becomes sexually aroused, nitric oxide (NO) is released in the erectile tissue of the penis. Nitric oxide stimulates the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), a chemical messenger that relaxes the smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the penis.

  2. Inhibition of PDE5: The relaxation of the smooth muscles allows the blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow into the erectile tissue and leading to an erection. This process is essential for achieving and maintaining an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. However, an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) breaks down cGMP, leading to a decrease in blood flow and difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection.

  3. Enhanced Blood Flow: Vidalista works by inhibiting the action of PDE5, thus preventing the breakdown of cGMP and allowing it to accumulate and exert its vasodilatory effects. By inhibiting PDE5, Vidalista helps to enhance the erectile response to sexual stimulation. It allows cGMP levels to remain elevated, leading to sustained relaxation of the smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the penis and increased blood flow into the erectile tissue.

  4. Improved Erectile Function: As a result of increased blood flow to the penis, men using Vidalista can achieve and maintain erections sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. Vidalista does not directly cause an erection but rather enhances the body's natural response to sexual stimulation.

  5. Onset and Duration of Action: Vidalista typically starts working within 30 minutes to an hour after ingestion, although the onset of action may vary from person to person. The effects of Vidalista can last up to 36 hours after ingestion, providing a longer window of opportunity for sexual activity compared to some other medications used to treat erectile dysfunction.
